Offend
The bible teaches that we need to obey. Offending a little one is to try to instruct them to disobey. I have always instructed my family to obey. To obey God and Jesus. To obey my headship in my family. To obey mother and others who are supposed to be obeyed. To cause a little one who has been taught and instructed to obey, to offend them means to get them to go against conscience and disobey what they have already been taught in the church.
Jesus obeyed his earthly parents perfectly. It is the devil who was tempting him in the desert.
A child is a person under the age of 18. This is a child that has been raised in Jesus. To offend them is to get them to go against what Jesus commands them to do.
7. To draw to evil, or hinder in obedience; to cause to sin or neglect duty.
Hindering a child from obedience is trying to get them to disobey…as the devil did to eve. Teaching a child to hate and disrespect his dad.
Getting a child to go against biblical truth or what they have been taught.
1. To transgress the moral or divine law; to sin; to commit a crime.
To lead them into sin…
causing to stumble transgress and committing sin.
