Good morning and welcome in everybody. Today we are going to take a look at a passage of scripture, but before we do that, I wanted to tell you a little story.
Many women across this world have been able to give birth to a child. What a wondrous thing to bring forth these precious little children into the world. A man has life inside of himself, and a woman is like a bird’s nest, where she patiently watches over her children until they are hatched inside of her. I was blessed to be able to deliver five of my children into this world. I saw each of them take their first breath and tied their umbilical cords. I held them in my arms for the first moments of their life, and the feelings are indescribable. God has given women the miraculous ability to grow a newborn child in their womb. Like a tree that bears fruit in its due season, a woman can be very fruitful bringing forth numerous children into this world.
This reminds me of the Christian Life
Although women are able to produce these precious children, women must never forget who gave birth to them at the very beginning. Like a child that is taken from their womb, the very existence of women was brought forth through a man.
Genesis 2:15-23 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
Men and women were created for specific purposes. Men were created to serve God and take care of His creation, but this in itself was a very large task. Although God looked to the numerous creatures that He had made, none of them was a suitable helper for men. Like a man who runs a large business, men need helpers to get the job done. Like an employer who has authority and commands his employees, men have authority over women in this world.
Have you girls ever helped your dad do something? Maybe he was splitting wood and you walked outside and started picking up the wood and stacked it in the shed. He didn’t say anything, but you knew in your heart that it was the right thing to do. Maybe you saw him cooking hamburgers on the barbecue grill, so you decided to set the kitchen table for him. Maybe your dad was repairing the truck on an extremely hot summer day, so you decided to fill a glass with ice and give him some cold lemonade to drink. This is the reason why women were created. Although in this day and age many women choose to forget, they were created to recognize the needs of men, and to humbly help them. Even if a woman marries an unbeliever, when she does a kind deed such as these, it goes a long way towards furthering their relationship with her husband. After all, God helps us by His grace to be able to someday enter heaven. All the books that were ever written could never contain all the wonderful deeds that Jesus did. Women serve the Lord Christ by serving men in the same manner.
It is unending the amount of good works that we can do towards others. We live in a world where many people don’t want to help each other. We live in a world where many women don’t have the time to help men. Their lives have become consumed by making money, owning their own home, or purchasing a new car. These are things that take your eye off the ball, and the reason why God created you in the first place. Christianity is not about individualism, where everybody seeks their own, or their best interests. We must strive to seek what’s best for others. For men, this begins with the preaching of the Gospel. Our greatest love above all others must be God. It is through this love that we preach the truth of this Holy Word. For women, their spiritual duties begin by helping and supporting men. As a man distributes the Spiritual food of God’s Word to his children and the church, a woman can prepare and distribute Earthly food. Either way that you look at it, each of us have our duties, to provide food whether Earthly or spiritual.
On a baseball team, a pitcher and a catcher have different responsibilities, but they are both part of the same team. Women are part of the christian life, but they are subordinate to men and their leadership. Remember that a cook on a naval vessel is subordinate to the captain, but they are both part of the same team. It is through humble submission to the places that God has placed them, that battles are eventually won, and the victory is rejoiced by everyone on the ship. Within the last few hundred years, women have claimed equality with men. This has happened through the rebellious activity of numerous unspiritual men who know nothing about the authority of God. Instead of looking to God and following His will, they worship women. Men who exalt women into these places of authority have never known God, because if they did, they never would have done it in the first place. The path to heaven is very narrow, and many men will come short of eternal life because they never understood the power and authority of God.
I speak a lot about women because the role of women in today’s society is one of the greatest heresies that is going on today. They have stepped into places of authority that have never been granted to them by God. One of the damning lusts of women is to be in charge. They want to be in control. It is the same lust as the devil when he rebelled against God. Women were never created to lead. They were created as helpers. But like a man who commits homosexuality, their activities going complete contravention to the word of God. Women who won’t submit to men are the same as a homosexual, a murderer or a liar. Don’t even attempt to justify your own behavior, because you are just as wicked as them. God did not create birds to swim in the ocean, he created them to fly. The purpose of a mechanic is not to pick blueberries, but to fix cars. The point is that God created us for a specific reason, and there’s a difference between men and women.
1 Corinthians 11:7-9 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man. Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
In today’s world women demand respect, but they have not gained respect from men of God, because they refuse to revere men. They refuse to look at men and understand that it is through them that they were originally created. What parent would not get upset when a child doesn’t obey them. When women hate men or disrespect them, they hate God. When they stand in judgment over a king or even a president, they are wicked. It is no different than a child who hates their authority of a parent who was placed in authority over them. When women stand in judgment over men they condemn themselves, because they stand in judgment over men who were created in God’s image.
I guess that I’ve always found it amazing that many modern women who profess Christianity, feel that they are exempt from obeying the will of God. They are so exalted in their own satanic pride, that they refuse to submit to men who were on this Earth before they ever were. Man was made in the image of God, and there is no fear of God in many of these women. This is because they have completely forgotten where they came from, and have wholeheartedly rejected….
