Good morning and welcome in everybody. Today we are going to take a look at a passage of Scripture from the book of 2 Timothy.
2 Timothy 2 ¹ Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. ² And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
In the church, there are certain things that are forbidden to women, one of which is the role of instructing others. I know that this flies in the face of many people who work out in the world, because in many places it has been accepted as the norm. Many things in Sodom and Gomorrah were considered acceptable too, but remember that they were destroyed by God. Women have stepped into teaching positions all throughout society, from giving piano lessons, educating children in classrooms and many other places of schooling in the community. As I’ve always said, the world is going to live the way that it does, but if you are going to profess Christianity as your faith, you are stepping onto a completely different platform, one that is regulated by the will of God. We are called to be separate from the world and its influences, one of which is women teaching. Many people will look around, and if they see everybody else doing it, then they think that it must be alright. People need to wake up, this is the world, and without repentance, people will perish in a lake of fire.
The moral conscience of a Christian is not formed by what the world does, but by the truth of God’s Holy Word. The worst part about women usurping the roles of men, is that it’s beginning to affect many people who profess to be Christian. When women get involved with these behaviors, it is a sin, no different than committing fornication, departing your husband, or even murder. Women teaching in any capacity is disorderly in the sight of God. The world is rapidly falling away from the truth, especially those who claim to abide in the teachings of Christ. Things that were forbidden 200 years ago are now acceptable and even encouraged by people who profess to be Christian. But this is the manifestation of the end times Church found in the book of Revelation, a sign of the approaching return of Christ Jesus. Rather than keeping women in submission, men will cower to their will, rather than Christ, and it’s only going to get worse. Christian women are to submit and obey men, not the other way around. It’s quite clear that many of these very religious women are beyond a place of repentance, because of which God is going to punish them and put them into a place of Great tribulation.
Revelation 2 ²⁰ Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. ²¹ And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. ²² Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
The Apostle wanted Timothy to give the things that he had learned from him to faithful men. Obviously women are part of the church, and can obtain salvation, but only men are granted the authority to teach, whether it’s scripture or any other branch of knowledge. Jesus picked male Apostles from the beginning, because He forbids women to teach. He sent out many pairs of men to teach the gospel. This is because only men can teach. For men to be Christ-like, they will do the same. Women can be discipled, but they cannot further the teachings of Christ because they are forbidden from instructing others in religious doctrine. Look around you and what is going on in modern forms of Christianity. You have young boys who have been instructed for many years by women in Sunday schools and other places of religious education. This heresy has been ingrained in their minds since their youth, and when they finally become adults, women preaching is second nature to them.
Over the years I have discovered that the further people get involved in the world, the less inclined they are to believe the truth of God’s Word. A woman’s duty to Christ is to loyally serve and obey her husband, and take care of her children or others in the church and community. God created her as a helper, not a teacher. Teaching is a Divine institution of authority created by God. It is what Christ did while here on the Earth. When she gets involved teaching in any capacity, she usurps the role for which man was created. They may do this in the world, and that’s their own issue, but it is forbidden to any woman who professes to follow and serve Jesus.
.1 Timothy 2 ¹¹ Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
¹² But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. ¹³ For Adam was first formed, then Eve. ¹⁴ And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. ¹⁵ Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
Rather than teaching a branch of knowledge, Godly women are supposed to be a model of love, both in their home and their community. But in these wicked days, many Jezebels have sprung up like weeds in many false churches, who actually encourage younger women to leave and divorce their own husbands. Their damnation is just, because they further the cause of hatred rather than Charity. They even profess to be a prophetess, filled with smiles and laughter and appearing humble and meek, but Jezebel is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. She justifies herself, but she along with all of the impenitent, will not escape God’s punishment.
Titus 2 ⁴ That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,.⁵ To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
Before I became a believer, I absolutely hated teaching and loathed it with a passion, but when I became a Christian I knew that this attitude would have to change. I would have to learn to do the thing that I hated, out of a love for God, so I submitted and began teaching. Why is it, that so many women refuse to do the same thing, and bring themselves into subjection to the Gospel of Truth? It’s because they really don’t possess a genuine love for Christ, a love that would cause them to submit to His will, and would lead to their own salvation. Paul didn’t suffer a woman to teach, and Jesus doesn’t suffer women to teach. The Holy Spirit is one spirit, and any man who professes faith in Christ will agree with what I am telling you today.
Many will laugh at this, but they will eventually weep, because God will not allow it to go unpunished. When it comes to teaching anything, it is completely…..
