Good morning and welcome in everybody. Today, we are going to take a look at a passage of scripture, but before we do that I wanted to tell you a little story.
There are many sporting events where there are certain penalties for interference. In American football for example, interference can be called when there are actions by a player that illegally impede an opponent’s opportunity to catch a forward pass. In basketball, a player might interfere with the basketball, by trying to prevent it from going in or out of the basket.
This reminds me of the Christian Life.
A busy body is somebody who interferes and officiously meddles in the affairs of another man’s household. To interfere is to enter into, or take part in the concerns of somebody else. It also means to interpose in a way that hinders or impedes something from happening. Many divorced wives will interfere and come in between the relationship between a dad and his children, interfering in his duties to command and guide his little ones after the teachings of his faith. Those who commit such wickedness are known as busybodies, a sin that is condemned in Scripture, and will be punished by God.
1 Peter 4:15 (KJB) But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters.
In a Christian home, the man is the commander of his household, and has been ordained by God to lead his children in the path of biblical truth. But there will be times when a baptized wife will renounce her faith by forsaking the commands of Christ by departing her husband, and eventually divorcing him completely. When this happens, all hell can break loose. At that point she can become so hateful and bitter that she will do anything that she can to get back at her husband, even using his precious children as weapons to inflict pain upon him. The little children who have grown up loving their dad, are brainwashed into hating him instead. In her bitter efforts to hurt her husband, she will emotionally abuse and neglect the needs of the children, an activity that is nefarious and cruel. This behavior has been openly condemned by unbelievers, yet regularly happens in places that claim to follow Jesus. What a bunch of lying hypocrites, claiming to be the children of God but are actually the children of the devil, but these kinds of things happen when a woman rebels against the teachings of Christ and renounces her faith.
1 Timothy 5:12-13 (KJB) Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith. And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.
The end of the commandment is love out of a pure heart and when a woman teaches the children to hate their own dad she has completely given herself over to the devil. These wicked women bring upon themselves shame and disgrace, and blaspheme the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and the ones who suffer the most in these situations are innocent children who had nothing to do with it at all. Although earthly law might look at it differently, in the eyes of Spiritual law in Christ Jesus, she is guilty of emotional child abuse, and is condemned of herself. Women who cause a child to hate in such a manner are causing them to sin, and might as well toss themselves into a lake, because in the end, it would have been better off that they hadn’t been born.
Luke 17:1-2 (KJB) Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
Divorce is an evil act, and even though a woman was blessed enough to be the recipient of the seed of her own husband, sometimes she will betray him and her responsibility to the gospel of Christ. Rather than being filled with love, hatred will consume her heart, and the family that she was a part of creating, she will begin to destroy.
Proverbs 14:1 (KJB) Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.
Many times when a professing Christian wife wickedly departs from her husband, she will join up with others who will begin to run interference between him and his children. Rather than turning them towards the one responsible for creating them, they will lead them away from his influence and Spiritual guidance over their lives. These activities will bring on severe consequences with God because they are the works of busybodies. You will find these wicked works in relatives, in-laws, and even grandparents who make it their unwelcomed business to advise a man how to run his own household. A busy body tries to command something that isn’t theirs to command, kind of like a midshipman who is attempting to be the captain of somebody else’s vessel. It’s amazing the audacity of grandparents or other relatives who think that they have some type of control over the seed of a man’s flesh, but a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump! They claim to be followers of Christ, but they are deceivers and liars, usurping God’s lawful authority in the home.
Remember that the devil has been involved with interference since the very beginning. Even in the garden of Eden he came in between Eve’s faithful relationship with God, by deceiving her. A wicked wife does the same thing to precious children by instructing them to alienate and hate their own dad, which ultimately can result in their emotional damage. One of the reasons why is because the relationship that we have with an earthly dad is very symbolic of the relationship that we have with the Heavenly Father. We are supposed to love, honor and obey Him, which is the same way that you are supposed to treat your own dad. When children are taught otherwise, it can hurt their relationship with God.
When a wife commits parental alienation, she will attempt to turn her husband’s own children away from his love, guidance and influence in their lives, and will do whatever she can to hinder any further growth in those relationships. Through her cruel and bitter hatred, she ultimately damages the innocent lives of precious children. But those who have to suffer through this ordeal must remember that God is watching, and He will plentifully reward the proud doers. Their lies shall consume them, like worms feeding on a dead carcass, and God will reward them according to their wicked works.
You can know for certain that there will be eternal consequences with God for those who are involved with the wicked works of a busy body, just as there are penalties in sports when people have committed……
