Good morning and welcome in everybody. Today, we are going to take a look at a passage of scripture, but before we do that, I wanted to tell you a little story.
I can remember when I was very young, many of the older women used to tell others that this is a man’s world, but that attitude has completely changed in today’s modern society. This is because people have gotten themselves further and further away from the teachings of scripture. A lof of things have grown worse, including the way that women present themselves in society. Twenty years ago, I had my wife dress extremely modestly in public, having her wear a long flowing dress that went all the way down to her ankles, and because of this, many women gave her the nickname of “skirt girl”. Wearing appropriate clothing like this is something that you don’t see in society very much anymore, and I had her dress modestly because it’s required in Scripture. When something is done modestly, it does not draw attention to itself.
1 Timothy 2:9 (KJB) In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
Women are called to be chaste keepers at home, but for most women, they have gone out into society to work, and left their kids in schools somewhere or even with a babysitter. Some of them will even leave their children for hours on end to be taken care of by an older sibling, but it is not a child’s responsibility to raise and care for children, it is the responsibility of the parent. When these situations arise, they cause these young children to miss out on the livelihood of their youth, stealing from them many precious innocent moments and thrusting upon them something that they were never called to do in the first place. This is the crux of many women who are involved with false Christianity. What a heart-wrenching behavior to do to these little ones who would love to be home with their mom and their dad, which is one of the reasons why I homeschooled all of my children. I wanted to be with them as much as I possibly could, instilling deep inside of their hearts, both my religious beliefs and the fond love that I have for each of them. A woman’s duty is to be a chaste keeper at home, abiding in the place that the husband has provided for her and the children to live. A lot of modern women claim to be Christian, but in all reality, they deny the Divine precepts of a follower of Christ.
Titus 2:5 (KJB) To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
As I have always said, one of the greatest heresies going on in false Christianity today is the role of women. They have taken upon themselves the roles of men, even preaching and teaching the things of God’s Holy Word, which is absolutely forbidden. Teaching in any capacity, is an authoritative role, something that has not been granted to women. I’ve spoken many times about an article that I read that was written somewhere in the early 1800s. It was about a family, whose daughter wanted to go into teaching, something that her own mother completely discouraged. Her dad told her that if she was not going to obey Him in this matter, they would have to disown her. So you see, women teaching is something that has not been around for very long. This heresy only shows the decline of true Christianity in the world, which is prophesied in the Bible would happen. This is why this world is heading towards tribulation and destruction. To be frank, it’s not going to get better people, but a whole lot worse, as people open their arms and embrace this false form of the true Christian faith. The great masses of people are going to claim that they are in some sort of great revival, but it’s only a religion that is rebellious and unsubmissive to the teachings of the one true faith.
2 Timothy 4:2-4 (KJB) Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
2 Peter 2:2 (KJB) And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
In the world there are doctrines of equality, but in the church there is order. Which means that God has put forth a certain structure of commands, which needs to be followed and obeyed in order to be faithful to Christ. To have an orderly classroom, the children must be in submission to the teacher. To have an orderly group of soldiers, they need to be in submission to their commander. To have order in the church, women are to be silent and in complete submission to the men.
1 Corinthians 14:34-38 (KJB) Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only? If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord. But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.
So if people claimed to be Spiritual but didn’t accept this fact, they were completely ignorant which means they didn’t know anything, and you were to pay them no attention at all. Women need to be active learners rather than teachers, something that is completely been turned on its head in these latter days of biblical rebellion. Although this actively happens out in the world today, Paul didn’t put up with it in the church at all. This is because men are made in the image of God, and they have authority over women, whether they are married, or not.
1 Corinthians 11:3 (KJB) But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
Like a private who usurps going through the proper channels in order to talk to his commanding officer, Paul did not allow women to usurp over men in any manner. I understand completely when an unbelieving woman does these types of things, but when they profess to be Christian, they enter into different territory because they come under the authoritative teachings of Holy Scripture.
1 Timothy 2:11-12 (KJB) Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
This passage refers to all women, whether they are married, single or even a young girl. It’s easy to identify false Christianity because you will see these types of women being contentious, fighting with, and even usurping over men who have been made in the image of God. When they take an authoritative approach over men, they are way out of their league, because they mock the things of Christ the Lord, and are void of God’s calling for women.
1 Timothy 5:14 (KJB) I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.
These things have been on the rise for the last hundred years, but it is a fulfillment of biblical prophecy and a reminder to each of us of the coming judgment of Christ Jesus. I would forewarn any woman who is going to openly reject these passages that they are rejecting the Son of God, and they had better get right with Him and repent before it’s too late. For the most part, a lot of them aren’t going to do this, because they refuse to change their ways, and wholeheartedly reject God’s……
