Thoughts of the day 1/15/26
Morning
1 Corinthians 11:8-9 (KJB) For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man. Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
When you think back to the beginning of creation, God created man in His own image and out of the dust of the Earth. He then created all of the animals for Adam to rule over, but because there was not a suitable helper found among all of the creatures that God had made, He then decided to create Eve. Adam essentially gave birth to her because God created her by using part of Adam’s body. So you see, man is not of the woman because he was created directly by God, without any intervention from a woman. He is a standalone creature so to speak, which is quite different for a woman who was created out of man when God used Adam’s rib. A woman was created as a helper, not a leader. She was created to to be a meek submissive assistant under the direction and leadership of men. God is a God of order, and one can see His Divine order even in the creation of man and woman. Man was not created to serve woman, but to serve God. Women on the other hand were created to serve man as his helper and she honors God by humbly submitting to his ordained leadership. In the world they teach the philosophical principles of equality between men and women, but in the church there is order. If a leader in this world expects their subjects to be in submission to them, then they should understand that God expects women to be in submission to men, because it is a Divine principle of orderly behavior that was instituted by Christ Jesus since the beginning of the creation of the world.

Evening
Matthew 13:22-23 (KJB) He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
The ultimate goal of the Christian Life is to bring forth Spiritual fruit unto God, but for a lot of men, that’s just not going to happen. This is because rather than having a good and obedient heart towards God, the things of this world will become far more important to them. Rather than focusing on God’s Divine vision for their lives, their eyesight will become clouded by all of the temporal distractions of this world. Those who obey Christ Jesus with a faithful and loyal heart are going to be rewarded with fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixty, and some thirty. But rather than abiding in the ministry to which he was appointed, Judas went after what he loved most, and instead of receiving Spiritual fruit, he received 30 pieces of silver instead.
