Morning
Matthew 7:21-23 (KJB) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
In order to enter eternal life, it requires more than just confessing Jesus as your Lord, it necessitates turning away from everything that goes against the will of God. When someone enters into the Christian Life, they must reject the sinful person that they once were and bring forth fruits that are meet for repentance. At the judgment, many people are going to claim that they knew Jesus, but the facts are that they never really did. To know Jesus is to lovingly abide in the truth of the things that He taught, and renounce everything that is contrary to the teachings of the one true faith.

Evening
Romans 6:1-4 (KJB) What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
When you continue to do something, it happens over and over again. For example, most people continue to get dressed each morning when they get out of bed. Others will jump into their car, back out of the driveway and continue to head off to work. But if we want to get to heaven, there is one thing that we don’t want to continue doing any longer, and that is one’s involvement with sin. Obviously, we have mercy available through Christ Jesus, but you must realize what Jesus went through in order to grant us that incredible gift. He suffered and died mercilessly on the cross so that we could have the forgiveness for sins. So just knowing that fact, why would you want to continue sinning? God’s grace was provided at an incredible cost, the death of God’s Only Begotten Son, so just make sure you think about that the next time you are tempted to do the wrong thing.
