2 Thessalonians 1:7-9 (KJB) And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
Everyone who becomes a Christian is going to enter into some type of persecution, but we must never avenge ourselves. This is because just as the Lord Jesus punished the Pharaoh of Egypt on behalf of the Israelites, He will likewise punish all those who cause His followers to suffer. Be patient therefore, because God will avenge His obedient children and come swiftly to their aid, pouring out His wrath upon the heads of the wicked, both now and forevermore.

Evening
Luke 22:19-20 (KJB) And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
Having Holy Communion together does not require a beautiful and ornate building. It does not require expensive vessels of gold and silver. The disciples had Holy Communion in the simplicity of a neighbors borrowed upper room. As my family knows, I have a communion bag which is basically a backpack that is filled up with the things that are needed to have the Lord’s supper. I have taken it wherever we go, such as on fishing trips, or camping out in the wilderness. We have had communion in our tents, out on a beach, along the edge of streams, and even inside of vehicles. Having Holy Communion is a requirement in order to get to heaven, but it is not our surroundings that matter to God when we partake of it. It is the understanding that you are partaking of the physical body of our precious Lord Jesus Christ. When we partake of the Lamb of God and receive His sacrifice with a contrite and penitent heart, we can be granted the gift of God’s Divine Mercy, and the promise of eternal life.
