Thoughts of the Day 1/27/26

Morning

Matthew 18:2-4 (KJB) And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,.And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

To convert means to change in form and function in order to be used for a different purpose. Each of us are sinful creatures in the flesh, but through the gift of Grace that is found in Christ Jesus, we have an opportunity to become a completely different person. For those who want to get to heaven, we must be transformed into Saints, but it is a process that will require a humble heart. This is because only through complete submission and heartfelt obedience to God’s will can we ever become the person that He wants us to become. The greatest in the kingdom of heaven are those who have humbled themselves before the Lord Jesus, and when you humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, He shall lift you up!

Evening

Ephesians 4:1-3 (KJB) I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

The Apostle Paul was begging the church to join together with a humble and meek heart. This world is filled with cruel and unmerciful people, but in the church we must be gracious and forgiving with each other in time of need. God is very long suffering towards this world, because if He really wanted to, He could have destroyed it many years ago. But God doesn’t want men to perish, He truly wants them to come to a place of repentance. So make sure that you try to keep the peace between each other and be ready to forgive, by extending unto them the manifold riches of the grace of God!
