Morning
Romans 8:28 (KJB) And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
God is going to bless those who serve Him with a perfect and obedient heart, but sadly a lot of people are going to live their lives according to their own purposes instead. In order to receive blessings from God, we need to walk according to His will, because He will reward those who serve Him out of a pure heart. God created us for a reason, which is found throughout the teachings of scripture, and when we walk in that calling with a humble and submissive heart, all things are going to work together for good. What a great motivation to do those things that are pleasing in His is sight!

Evening
Ephesians 4:31-32 (KJB) Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
The scriptures clearly teach us that if people desire to find forgiveness, then they need to confess their faults with a contrite and penitent heart towards God and others whom they have wronged. When this happens, the wronged party must be tenderhearted and forgiving with them just as God has been merciful toward them. Confessing faults is so important that the Lord didn’t even want people presenting gifts to the church until they first reconciled with others that they had wronged. But oftentimes when people sin against the will of God, it will break up close relationships with others in the church, resulting in shunning and disfellowship. This is not done out of bitterness, but because of their refusal to walk according to the light of Scriptural Truth. In the parable of the Prodigal Son, his dad was incredibly merciful and ready to forgive him, but before this could ever happen he had to repent of his sins and accept responsibility for what he had done. Many people are so filled up with pride that they are simply incapable of humbling themselves before God or others in such a manner, and rather than finding life through a contrite and penitent heart, they choose to abide in death instead.
