Morning
1 Thessalonians 2:9 (KJB) For ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail: for labouring night and day, because we would not be chargeable unto any of you, we preached unto you the gospel of God.
The Apostle Paul wasn’t looking for a handout from anybody, and he certainly knew how to provide for his own needs. He was a businessman of sorts because he was a tent maker by trade, but that was definitely part time, because the main thing that he spent his life doing was preaching the gospel and starting churches. Sometimes the churches would help him out financially, but whether they did or didn’t, nothing was going to prevent him from continuing what he was called to do. Some people only work for a paycheck but a hireling careth not for the sheep of God, this is because their ultimate goal is financial gain. On the other hand, the things that Paul did with his life were motivated out of a love for Christ Jesus, and having a great desire to see the redemption of the souls of men.

Evening
1 Corinthians 6:1-3 (KJB) Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints? Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
When someone claims to be a Christian and has a dispute with somebody else in the church, they are forbidden to go to law enforcement or an Earthly courtroom for justice. Even when an unbeliever wrongs you, let them wrong you, because God will avenge His servants and pour out His vengeance upon them. Allowing yourself to suffer in such a manner will also give you a better resurrection. But those who claim to be a Christian must take their issues before the Saints, because judgment must first begin at the house of God. Remember that Earthly courtrooms deal with temporal issues, but the Saints deal with everlasting ones, which means that the judgments of the Saints hold far more weight than the judgments of this Earth. An Earthly judge only deals with the world that is, but the Saints deal with the everlasting world to come, making determinations and judgments regarding the soul, and addressing matters concerning life after death.
