Luke 21:1-4 (KJB) And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.
Able gave God a better gift than Cain which showed that he was a righteous person, but I guess that it has always been said, put your money where your mouth is. You cannot serve God and Mammon, and what you do with your possessions and your time truly defines how much you sincerely love God. There are many wealthy people who might give a huge donation to a church, but when it comes down to percentages, many times it is only a mere pittance in comparison to a poor man who gives half of his weekly paycheck to the church. People will invest their finances in the things that they believe in, whether it’s a brand new product, saving the whales, or some type of starter company. Likewise when people believe in God they will invest their finances in the things of God, because He is their Everlasting Treasure and their Pearl of Great Price!

John 10:8-9 (KJB) All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
The true sheep of God are going to receive God’s Holy Word, because they recognize the Words of our Great Shepherd. Salvation is found within the covers of the King James Bible, for they are the teachings of Christ, and the gateway to greener pastures and Everlasting Life!
