Morning
Romans 12:1-2 (KJB) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
In the Old Testament, the sacrifices were killed and then offered as an atonement for sin, but in the New Testament each of us must become a living sacrifice unto God. The sacrifices used in Judaism needed to be unblemished and without fault, which is the same way that each of us must offer ourselves to God. As sinners, each of us have lived the way that the world does, conforming to both their actions and behavior, but as a Christian, we must now undergo a complete transformation. We must prove by our actions that we are creatures who are worthy of salvation, by surrendering our hearts completely unto His purpose, and rendering our minds to the perfect will of God.

Evening
Psalms 37:1-2 (KJB) Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
When you fret about something, it is to be worried or anxious because of a situation that has presented itself in your life. When you are worried, it is to be deeply troubled, distressed, uneasy and even nervous. But the Lord Jesus knows who is walking according to His will, and when people cast out your name as evil and persecute you, you don’t have a thing to worry about at all. This is because the creator of Heaven and Earth stands by your side, and will rise up with shield and buckler to fight against those who fight against you. The Lord Jesus is going to bring great tribulation upon all those who cause His elect to suffer, and like David against Goliath, God shall cut them down and turn their lives into utter chaos. The obedient children of God have nothing to be anxious about, because the Lord does battle for them; it is the wicked who had better worry, because God will cast them down to the ground and grind them into powder. Fret not, but wait patiently on the Lord, because He will pour out His vengeance upon the evildoers, and burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
