Good morning and welcome in everybody. Today, we are going to take a look at a passage of scripture, but before we do that I wanted to tell you a little story.
People who believe in the nonsense of the rapture theory, are simply people who don’t want to have to believe that they might have to lay down their own lives for the Lord Jesus Christ during the Great Tribulation. Apparently, this heresy all began in the 1830s by somebody named John Darby, and has spread like a wildfire in the last century. It doesn’t matter if the word rapture appears in the Bible or not, because it comes down to the idea that people actually believe that Christians are going to be removed from this Earth before the tribulation period. Obviously, some people will expire because of old age before this event comes to pass, but not everybody. I have spoken to many combat veterans in my life who have a greater sense of bravery then many people who profess to be Christian. If a Christian dies in order to be faithful to the teachings of Christ, then they will only be raised up to life once again. Although Catholics are the sons and daughters of murderers, who burned people at the stake like a bunch of wild animals, they do have certain issues that agree with the teachings of scripture. If it is the will of God that you lay down your life for your faith and the dictates of your own conscience, then there is no greater honor that could be granted unto you. The only person who really fears Earthly death is somebody who fears the Eternal judgment of God. As sheep to the slaughter, we must be faithful unto death, but always remembering that it only hastens the Eternal judgment of the wicked. Don’t be afraid little children, because earthly death is only the beginning of the everlasting world that is coming! Fear not, because life is not going to end, trust me, because if I said anything else I would be filled with guile, and an absolute liar. I am convinced that there is a world beyond the grave, one that each of us are going to see. Some are going to see the resurrection of eternal life, and others, the resurrection of eternal damnation. Be faithful unto Christ, because in your patience you possess your souls.
