Morning
Ephesians 4:22-24 (KJB) That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
After wearing an article of clothing for many years, eventually it will have to be discarded and thrown into the garbage. Then we will reach into our dresser drawer and pull out a brand new shirt that we have never worn before. The old sinful person that we once were in the past must also be discarded when we begin the life of a Christian. Like putting on a new shirt, we must put on the new man, and become a brand new creature in Christ Jesus.

Evening
Ephesians 6:10-11 (KJB) Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
There are numerous devils out in the world who will use cunning and deceitful schemes in order to achieve their goals. They can appear in many different forms, from an angel of light, a grandparent, a neighbor, or even a wife sitting right next to you at the breakfast table. They might be filled up with smiles, hugs, and laughter, but just underneath the surface, they are a wretched and evil person, filled up with guile and all of the hidden works of darkness. Like pulling a scab off of a wound, if you were to rip their facade away you would find the sinful puss of hypocrisy as they employ cunning strategies to persuade and manipulate others in order to get them to do what they want. But all of their crafty ploys are well known to God, and shall not be hidden from His judgments. For all of their hidden works of darkness shall be brought into the light, and He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
