Morning
Romans 16:17-18 (KJB) Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
What unites Christians together in fellowship are the teachings of Holy Scripture, but there are many wolves in sheep’s clothing who will try to create disunity within a church group by propagating false doctrines. This is why we need to be filled up with the wisdom of God, so we can discern anti-biblical teachings and avoid those who are preaching the doctrines of devils. As men of God are leading people into obedience towards Scripture, the devil is doing the exact opposite thing, by leading people away from the will of God in order to deceive them. As we grow in knowledge, each of us will eventually be able to tell the difference between a cat and a dog, and the more Scripture that we are filled up with, the more that you will be able to discern between those who speak the Truth from those who are preaching lies.

Evening
Romans 8:24-25 (KJB) For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
If your dad picked you up to go fishing and you were sitting out on the lake and casting your bait, would you still be hoping to go fishing with him? Obviously not, because the event has already come to pass. If your mom made you some chocolate oatmeal cookies and you were devouring them at the supper table, would you still be hoping that you would eventually be able to eat some? Obviously not, because the event has already come to pass. Real hope is waiting for something that you haven’t gotten yet, and we certainly haven’t made it to Heaven yet! In order to obtain that world we will have to hear, well done now good and faithful servant! Many forms of false Christianity don’t possess genuine hope at all, because they think they are going to be in heaven and nothing can change that fact. That is not hope, it is somebody who is awarding themselves with eternal life. Those who hold such heretical beliefs are like people who stand in the starting blocks of a race, and when the gun goes off, they will walk over to the table next to the track, and pull a blue ribbon from the box before they did anything to obtain it! That is not hope because you were not diligent enough to complete what needed to be done! That’s called laziness! When you are filled with genuine hope, you will be patient and diligent in your service towards Christ Jesus, making sure to transform, convert, and do the will of God from the heart. None of us are automatically going to heaven and those who teach that nonsense are liars, because just like completing any type of marathon, it’s going to take many steps in order to finally obtain the trophy! Don’t be deceived, strive to enter in!
