Colossians 3:16 (KJB) Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Adding lyrics to music is a great medium to educate others. After all, how many of you can remember learning your ABCs from songs that you heard in preschool? Some people use secular music to put forth political points or their own worldly ideologies, but in the church we use music to glorify God and to learn and remember the things that He calls us to do. There are plenty of lyrics throughout the King James Bible to help others to grow in their Christian faith, and all we need to do is put them to music, either acapella or with instruments!

1 Thessalonians 2:4 (KJB) But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.
A man of God cannot be a people pleaser, which means that he must explain the teachings of Scripture to others, whether they willingly receive it or completely reject it. You cannot change the message of repentance and mortification of sin just to please the ears of a rebellious and impenitent world. Preaching God’s Word is going to raise persecution from those who love and believe a lie, and it will only get worse and worse right up until the return of our precious Lord Jesus. But although biblical truth doesn’t tickle many people’s fancy, those who preach it are pleasing to God, and whatever we can do to abide in His favor, is something that we must do with all of our hearts!
