James 1:22-25 (KJB) But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
Scriptures teach us that in order to enter into eternal life, we must become completely transformed into new creatures in Christ Jesus. But in order for this process to happen we must hear God’s will, and then apply it to our daily lives. It’s more than just knowledge by itself, It is putting into action the things that we have learned. We must never forget to dedicate ourselves to walk in the will of God, because when we activate our faith, He is going to activate His blessings towards us.

Evening
James 4:7-10 (KJB) Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
There are many people who abide in a state of unforgiveness with God, simply because of their own refusal to confess their sins to God and others whom they have wronged. Many of them really believe that they will be in heaven, but the truth is that they are believing a lie. To believe in Jesus is to be filled with mercy and charity towards others, and when you sin against a brother in the church, these qualities will cause you to immediately seek reconciliation and confess your faults unto them. That is a response that is caused by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Repentance towards them is so important that God will not even receive one’s gift unless they first repent towards others. This means that whatever gifts you may present to a church somewhere, they simply don’t count. Why? Because people openly reject one of the main doctrines of the Christian Life, repentance. If you cannot repent towards a brother whom you have wronged, you cannot repent towards God because all it is, is an act of complete hypocrisy. Repentance is not a difficult message, but it is hard to do for those who have allowed themselves to become hardened and filled up with pride. One of the doctrines of our faith is to be reconciled with a brother in the church whom you have wronged. Those who refuse to do this are outside of the teachings of our faith, and show a complete disregard for the doctrines of contrition and humility.
