Morning
1 Peter 2:2-3 (KJB) As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
When my children were very young I used to milk goats for them, but as soon as I brought it into the house it didn’t last for very long. They had such a great desire for it that they would consume it quickly, and all that was left behind was their empty glasses! But this is the same type of desire that we need to have for the teachings of Holy Scripture. Just as milk helps a child to grow, we need regular servings of God’s Holy Word to grow Spiritually, becoming strong through the knowledge of our faith, and maturing into the person that God wants us to become.

Evening
1 Thessalonians 5:14 (KJB) Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
When somebody is unruly, they can be very difficult to control because they don’t want to submit to governance, and are filled up with disorderly and disobedient behavior. When you warn somebody, it is to make them aware that if certain things are not corrected in their life, then they will have to face future consequences because of it. A school bus driver might give a child a few warnings to keep in their seat, but if they are unruly, then they will have to sit up next to the bus driver, or be removed from future trips. Jesus was constantly warning others to repent or perish, as were the rest of His disciples. I believe that if you truly love somebody you are going to warn them about the error of their way. This at least gives them the opportunity to correct their wayward behavior, so they can get back onto the narrow path of Christ Jesus.
