Morning
Luke 9:59-62 (KJB) And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God. And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house. And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
As He walked across the countryside, Jesus called out to men to preach the kingdom of God, but for quite a few of them, other things took precedence over the high calling of God. It is taught in the parable of the sower that many men are going to be without fruit on judgment day, simply because their time on Earth was spent seeking after worldly things, rather than helping others grow in the teachings of our faith. Preaching must outweigh any other concerns in this temporal world, focusing our hearts on the eternal world to come. To love the Lord Jesus is to keep His commandments, and one of these is to go thou and preach the kingdom of God!

Evening
Luke 12:4-5 (KJB) And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
Jesus taught His disciples that they needed to fear God, a quality that many people who claim to be Christian really do not possess at all. To fear is to understand that there are going to be repercussions and consequences for those who choose to willfully rebel against Him. Why are there so many evil things going on in false Christianity today? It’s because there is no fear of God before their eyes, and it is for that very reason that they are going to reap His wrath. God is not mocked, and everybody will reap what they have sown. It is by the fear of God that men depart from evil, and those who choose to thumb the noses at God might not survive the next week. There are no blessings that will be found in rebellion, only punishments towards disobedient children, so repent quickly, before it’s too late.
