James 1:22 (KJB) But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
Many people can hear the Word of God preached and taught, or read it during certain times of the day. But knowledge by itself does nothing for our souls unless we do the things and we have learned. In order to be blessed by God we must put into regular action the teachings of Scripture in our daily lives, because only then will we become transformed from sinners into the Saints, and from old wretched men, into new creatures in Christ Jesus.

Evening
Psalms 34:15-16 (KJB) The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
Nothing is hidden from God, and all of the evil things that people are involved with are in clear view of His eyes. He knows the status of each person’s heart, whether they are humble in His sight, or are filled up with the pride of impenitence. Many people claim that their prayers have been answered, but they never were never answered by God. If going against the will of God was done in order to obtain what you have, then God never meant you to have it in the first place. God does not answer the prayers of those who choose to sin willfully against the teachings of our faith, in fact, He doesn’t even hear them at all. In their religious pride they can lift up their great swelling words of vanity all day long, but it is only the humble and obedient servant of God that the Lord will hearken unto.
