Jeremiah 7:11  “Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD.” When you go to building or a business somewhere, usually that building has a specific thing that it sells or provides a service for. A grocery storeContinue reading “This is God’s House”

Good morning and welcome in everybody.  Today, we are going to take a look at a passage of scripture, but before we do that, I wanted to tell you a story. The Great wall of China is the longest wall in the world, with its length reaching over 13,000 miles long. That’s approximately the sameContinue reading “The Great Wall”

In a team based sport, the objective is, obviously, to win. To succeed in achieving this victory, the team needs to work together as one. Each person does their part as they all work together. They each may have slightly different roles but their end goal is the same. They are united. If something isContinue reading “The Unity of the Spirit”

Growing up, what were some “rules of the house” that you and/or your brothers and sisters were expected to keep? In a school classroom, who needs the help from the teacher to understand how to solve a math problem, the smartest, top student who always gets a straight “A” grade, or the student who always borders between failing and just barely passing, and is always saying, I need help? A straight “A” student doesn’t needContinue reading “Help Me”

Good morning and welcome in everybody.  Today, we are going to take a look at a passage of scripture, but before we do that, I wanted to tell you a little story. Where I grew up, there was a huge continental divide that we used to drive over each day when we came home afterContinue reading “The Continental Divide”

Philippians 4:8  “”Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Over the last year, what are some things that stickContinue reading “Thinking About Christ”

Good morning and welcome in everybody.  Today, we are going to take a look at a passage of scripture, but before we do that, I wanted to ask you a question. When you were in school, did you ever wad up a piece of paper in your mouth, and throw it across the room atContinue reading “Throwing Spitballs”
