Luke 13:1-5 (KJB) There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Repentance is the crux of the entire Christian life because without it, people are going to perish. Repentance is recognizing through contrition and remorse the wickedness of one’s own ways, which ultimately causes them to live their lives in a completely different manner. Changes in your lifestyle can change your future, so repent before it’s too late, because God will reward you for your efforts, and will crown you with eternal life.

Romans 2:13 (KJB) (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
The Apostle James taught a very similar passage in the Book of James chapter 1. Justification has to do with turning from your sinful behavior to become a new creature in Christ Jesus. Those who sin willfully against the grace of God never really loved Jesus in the first place and the forgiveness that they assume that they have will eventually be ripped away from them all. Many people who profess to be Christian will actually believe that they will enter into heaven, but will be denied entrance at the Judgment Day, so make sure that what you possess is really what the Bible determines as faith, which is revealed through humble submission and I’ll be next to the will of God.
