Morning
2 Corinthians 4:18 (KJB) While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Everything that we can see in this world is eventually going to be gone. This is because the Earth and all the works that are in it are going to be burned up by God. All of the multi-million dollar homes and even the tallest structures in the world will be brought down to nothing. This world is filled with wickedness, but the Lord Jesus is creating a brand new Heaven and a New Earth wherein dwelleth righteousness. This new and everlasting home will be a place provided for everyone who has served Him out of a pure heart, and humbly submitted themselves to His will.

Evening
Jude 1:3 (KJB) Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
To contend means to strive in competition in order to win something, just like two competitors in a sporting event who are contending to win first place. There is only one true faith, which was established by the Lord Jesus and His Apostles, but throughout the years, many false teachings have sprung forth from false prophets who have tried to pervert the one true and original faith. As a Spiritual soldier, the Apostle Paul would rise up in defense of the Gospel, casting down everything that was outside of the will of God. Each day he was contending for the one true faith, striving earnestly to win the race that had been set before him.
