Thoughts of the Day 11/1/26

Thoughts of the Day 11/1/26 am

Ephesians 2:12-13 (KJB)

That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

The things of God were originally given to the Jewish Nation, and everybody else was on the outside looking in. But because of what Jesus Christ did on the cross for us all, He opens the door to salvation to every single person on the Earth. Because nobody kept the law, including the Jews themselves, God made salvation available to everyone when they come to Christ Jesus in faith, and repent of their sins. It doesn’t matter what Earthly nation they might come from, because through Christ Jesus and His incredible Mercy, all of us can become a part of the everlasting nation of God. Praise God for His kindness!

Thoughts of the Day 11/1/26 pm

Ephesians 4:7 (KJB) But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Quite a few of us enjoy having a cup of coffee everyday, and will usually add a certain measure of sugar to our drink. Some people will only take a small measure of sugar, while others will take a lot more. The same is also true of the grace of God, because some of us are going to need a lot more grace than others in order to wash our sins away. Some people have only sinned a few times in their life while men such as the Apostle Paul sinned a lot more, but no matter how many mistakes you have made along the way, they can all be washed away when we are submerged beneath the Waters of Holy Baptism. All of us have sinned one time or the other, but today is the day of salvation. It’s time to call upon the name of the Lord Jesus, and receive the free gift of His mercy, and cleanse your hearts from all of your iniquities.
