James 1:5-8 (KJB) If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
Imagine having just one wish, what would you wish for? Solomon wanted wisdom above and beyond anything else in this world, and God granted it unto him. He also gave him honor and riches that were beyond compare. The Apostles wanted the church to be filled up with wisdom but in order to possess it you must first be filled up with faith. Whatever you ask in your heart believing you shall receive, and when you ask for the wisdom of God you will be able to obtain one of the greatest and most beneficial treasures that you are ever going to find!

James 5:19-20 (KJB) Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
The Apostle Paul spent his life converting people to the Christian faith, and to convert means to get somebody to change their opinions, ideas, or the way that they are living their life. Sometimes a brother in the church might be led astray, and start to believe things that are contrary to the teachings of God’s Holy Word. If this happens, but they absolutely refuse to repent of what they are doing, it’s going to lead to their own damnation. Throughout the New Testament, the Apostles were constantly warning the church and converting them from any false beliefs, so they were walking in the Truth of the Christian faith. If you can get people to change their mind about the wrong course of action that they are taking, you are going to save their soul from death. If they are humble enough to listen to your guidance, and turn away from their sins, you will have led them away from a path that would have inevitably led to sorrow, suffering, and a multitude of sins.
