Morning
Romans 12:2 (KJB) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Many years ago before I became a believer, one of the jobs that I had was selling shoes. I’ve sold so many shoes in my lifetime that I don’t know if I could ever count them all. But when people went up to the counter to pay for them, I normally offered them a product called “renew”, which I thought was a pretty decent product at the time. You could work it in to your old leather shoes at home and completely restore them back to life again.
As sinners, each of us were born into this world with a worldly mind, but when we become a Christian, God wants us to renew our minds, which is going to require rubbing into the shoe leather of our hearts, the teachings of the King James bible. It’s going to take some effort and study in order to work into your mind the mink oil of God’s Truth, but if it is done diligently, you will be completely transformed, from an old pair of dress shoes, into a brand new creature in Christ Jesus.

Evening
2 Corinthians 4:17-18 (KJB) For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Each day that passes we grow a little bit older in our Earthly bodies, but our lives on Earth are like a whisp of smoke, and then it will be all done. All of the temporal things that you see in this world are eventually going to be gone, castaway like an old pair of clothing into the garbage can. With that in mind, we must always keep our hearts and minds focused on the world that is coming, and striving diligently in humble obedience to the perfect will of God. Keep at it!
