1 John 4:5-6 (KJB) They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
Have you ever noticed how people tend to listen to someone who is speaking about a topic that they are very interested in? Maybe you can remember your dad panning through all of the radio stations in the car, until he finally found the local news station that he wanted to listen to. Maybe someone was giving a lecture at the local school about how to make maple syrup, and anybody who was interested in learning how to do that, showed up. Well, the same is also true of those who preach God’s Word. A lot of the time, many people won’t show up simply because they are not of God. But those who receive your words are receiving the Words of Christ, which ultimately helps you to discern who truly is of God, and who isn’t.

Evening
Jude 1:3 (KJB) Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
Throughout the world, people have many different types of competitions, such as running marathons, bicycle races, and many other events that can be found at Olympic events. But at each competition, you are struggling against an opponent, trying hard to defeat them and be the first one to cross the finish line. A sincere Christian is running a race, and just like any competition, you have to compete according to the rules. The King James Bible is our handbook to heaven, which contains the true and original teachings of the Apostles of Christ. With so many perversions of scripture and false prophets that are out in the world today, we must always look to the true men of God who were chosen long before any of us. There is only one true faith and one true church, and it is found inside the teachings of this book. Just make sure that you don’t allow yourself to be led astray by others, but look to the Scriptures daily, just as the faithful men of Berea!
