Morning
Romans 13:14 (KJB) But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
Many people who go camping will look through the woods and store up a provision of firewood that will last them the entire night. Many people who go hiking in the mountains, will throw some provisions of food and water in their backpack, in order to provide for their needs as they walk down the trail. Our hearts are kind of like a backpack, but you want to make sure that you are not filling it up with provisions that only provide more fuel for the works of the flesh. What we must do is empty out our backpack, and fill it up once again with the things of the Holy Spirit, mortifying all of the sinful desires of the flesh, and keeping our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Evening
Romans 14:1-3 (KJB) Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
Sometimes people will be quick to judge others simply because of the foods that they eat. For example, John the Baptist ate certain specific things in his diet, but then he didn’t partake of any alcohol at all. On the other hand, Jesus came eating and drinking, but then they called Him a gluttonous man and a winebibber. To judge one another over what you eat and drink is extremely petty, because it really has no bearing on the kind of person that you actually are deep inside of your heart. Everyone must remember that the kingdom of God is not about meat and drink, because as the Apostle Paul so clearly stated, it’s about righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
