Morning
Matthew 13:44-46 (KJB) Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
Whatever you put your money into is really what you love most in this world, but you must understand that you cannot serve both God and Mammon. Most people are going to invest all of the wealth that God has given them into their own personal affairs rather than putting it into the furtherance of God’s Kingdom. The things of God must be one’s greatest treasure, above and beyond anything else that you could ever receive here on this Earth. They need to be so important to you that you are ready to sell all that you have, just in order to obtain it. There is an old saying to put your money where your mouth is, but sadly for most people who claim to have faith, their money is somewhere else, rather than in the things of God’s Kingdom. Don’t deceive yourselves, because the love of money is the root of all evil.

Evening
Philippians 3:18-19 (KJB) (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
This is a message towards reprobate and rebellious Christians, because they are the enemies of the Cross of Christ. When you become a Christian you have to understand completely why Jesus died on the cross. He did it so we could have the opportunity to be forgiven for our sins and become a brand new creature of faithful obedience to the will of God. But the people spoken of in this passage are those who claim to be Christian and then take the precious gift of Christ and throw it right into the mud because of their disobedient and wicked living. Many people who profess Christianity are headed for destruction, and the reason why is because they never truly repented in their heart. They were never broken and filled with contrition for the stupid things that they did in their past. They never crucified the old man that they used to be. They never loved the Lord Jesus enough to serve Him with an obedient heart. If you never sincerely change your lifestyle, don’t even kid yourself, because the path of Christ Jesus is much narrower than most people choose to accept.
