John 8:47 (KJB) He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
A lot of the time people will listen to the things that interest them most. For example, if you want to be a restaurant chef, you will open up your hearts and minds to culinary teachings that help you prepare wonderful meals. If you are interested in tractors, you will seek out any information that will help you restore and repair them. The point is that people will intently listen to the things that are important to them, and the same is also true of Scripture. Those who truly desire to be a child of God, will seek diligently after the things concerning our faith, by opening up their ears to the teachings of God’s Holy Word.

Evening
Psalms 117:1-2 (KJB) O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people. For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD.
Each of us are sinners in this world who have come short of the glory of God, but even though we have sinned in His sight, He sent Jesus to show kindness and compassion to us all. It’s not that any of us loved God, but that He loved us first, and extended His kindness and help towards us all, even while we were yet in our sins. God grants us Grace for the purpose of becoming a brand new creature in Christ Jesus, and being completely transformed from sinners into Saints. When He was on the cross, Jesus could have destroyed this entire world, but died for us as an atonement for our sins instead. The incredible kindness and mercies of God, who showers us with His grace, so that through sincere repentance, we can become everything that He wants us to be. What’s it going to take to get people to turn from their sins unto God, because truly, He careth for you.
