Thoughts of the day 7/9/26 am
2 Corinthians 5:19 (KJB) To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Scriptures clearly teach us that each of us have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and it is sin that causes a person to be at enmity with God. But God grants us a free gift of forgiveness that is found through faith in His precious Son Jesus Christ, and rather than punishing us for our iniquities, He wants to free us from them all instead. The Lord Jesus died on the cross to deliver us from our sins, and when we believe in Him and our submerged beneath the waters of baptism, God will forgive you for all of your sinful past. The Apostles wanted people to be reconciled to God, which is to be restored to friendship with Him, and He has already provided us with a pathway to do this. It is found through the grace of God in Christ Jesus, an unspeakable gift of Divine proportions that has been put forth by a kind and merciful God.

Thoughts of the day 7/9/26 pm
2 Corinthians 9:6-8 (KJB) But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
Whenever you plant tomatoes in the garden, you will get back as many according to the seeds that you planted. If you only sow a few of them, you will only get a few back, but if you sow lots of tomato seeds, you are going to have a bounty! The Apostle is speaking about sowing a financial seed towards men who are preaching God’s Holy Word. God sees the things that you give, and when Abel gave a better sacrifice than his brother, he was blessed because of it. Make sure that whatever amount you give is from your heart, and before you present your offering, you must first be reconciled with a brother whom you have wronged. Do this, and thou shalt be blessed by God.
