Thoughts of the day 7/10/26 am
Galatians 2:20 (KJB) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Before he became a Christian, the Apostle Paul was on a crusade to destroy the Christian faith. At that time of his life he was a Jewish Pharisee, who felt that Christianity was completely heretical. But eventually, he was converted to the Christian faith, and through faith in Christ Jesus, got completely forgiven for his past sins. He referred to himself as the chief of sinners, yet the Lord used him for great things in the church. He is a great example of how people can change when they finally believe in Jesus with all of their heart, and receive the love and the grace that He has waiting for them.

Psalms 54:4-5 (KJB) Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.
The Apostles and disciples of Christ Jesus had to deal with a lot of suffering and persecution wherever they went, but just as the Lord delivered the Israelites from Egypt, he delivered His elect out of the hands of the wicked. The Apostle taught that the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and he delivered Daniel from the Lion’s den and David from the spear of Goliath. The battle is not ours to fight, it belongs to the Lord, and He will fight on behalf of His obedient children. Those who help a sincere man of God, are going to find blessings with the Lord, but those who fight against them are only going to find themselves entangled with the vengeance of God Almighty.
