Thoughts of the Day 7/24/26 am
1 Corinthians 3:5-7 (KJB) Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
Many times when a man has a greenhouse, he will spend a few days planting all of the seeds into cups, and then set them on shelves underneath the sunlight. But he might give the other duties to some of his children instead, and they will go out to the greenhouse each day and make sure that all of the plants are watered. But you have to understand that when you plant a seed or water it, when it finally grows it is a miracle from God. The same is also true in the church. The Apostle Paul spent much of his life planting seeds of faith into people’s hearts, by explaining to others what Jesus had done for them on the cross. But he wasn’t at the churches all of the time, and chose other men to constantly water the sheep of God. But whether somebody plants or waters, they are just going about their duties, because in the end, the increase in the church is a miracle of God, who causes things to grow, and brings forth fruit in due season.

Thoughts of the Day 7/24/26 pm
1 Corinthians 4:21 (KJB) What will ye? shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love, and in the spirit of meekness?
When a dad comes home from work, most of them want to hear a good report and that the kids were behaving themselves. This is because a lot of us are looking forward to having fun with them and going fishing or swimming at the beach. But occasionally when you show up after work, there is discipline that needs to happen, and some of the children might have to be sent to their rooms or be grounded for the entire weekend. The Apostle Paul wanted to show up at the church knowing that everything was going well, and there were no issues that needed to be addressed. This is because he wanted to share quality time with them, enjoying their company, and being filled with love one towards another. But sin cannot be ignored, and although the Apostle Paul was a very meek man, if discipline needed to happen in the church, he was ready to oblige them, not because he took joy in it, but that the church required it. So be good and obedient to the teachings of Christ, so we can all enjoy the day, and share wonderful times with each other. After all, what more could you ask for?
