Thoughts of the Day 7/25/26 am
Psalms 63:1 (KJB) O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
Whenever you thirst, you will go find something to quench it. Perhaps it’s a cold drink of water from the kitchen sink, or pouring yourself a glass of orange juice from the refrigerator. When we thirst after God, we will have a great desire to seek diligently after Him until we find Him. After all, He wants to give us living water, and is ready to quench all of our Spiritual thirst!

Thoughts of the Day 7/25/26 pm
Hebrews 3:12-13 (KJB) Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
When we were children we used to put Kool-Aid in ice cube trays and then put them in the freezer for a few hours. Slowly the effects of the cold began to freeze those cubes into solid blocks of ice. Sin has the same kind of effect in our lives, because the more that you become involved with it, the harder your heart will become. The heart can be very soft, pliable, tenderhearted, and loving, but once sin is added into the equation, it becomes hard, impenitent, bitter and cruel. The further that people distance themselves from God, the further they distance themselves from His guidance, discipline and correction, and people who choose to turn away their ears from the Truth are headed for disaster. The teachings of scripture must be in our lives daily, so that you never forget the consequences for those who forget about God and allow sin to rule their hearts, rather than our precious Lord Jesus Christ.
