Thoughts of the Day 7/30/26

Thoughts of the Day 7/30/26 am

Hebrews 12:1-2 (KJB) Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

When you begin to live your life as a Christian everybody is going to put your life under a microscope. This is because they want to find any type of fault with you that they can, in order to justify the sinful way that they live their life. Many of the religious leaders of Jesus day hated Him with a passion, and tried to find any way that they could to deliver Him to the governor. The legal authorities at that time eventually crucified their creator, bringing upon themselves their own condemnation. So whatever happens in your life, make sure that you do what is good and right, because God will cast the lives of the impenitent into utter chaos, and without repentance, deliver them to an everlasting lake of fire, for so it has been written, and so it shall be done.

Thoughts of the Day 7/30/26 pm

Hebrews 13:7 (KJB) Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

When you grow in the teachings of God’s Holy Word, the men who have preached unto you have a place of rule and authority over you. It is very similar to how a dad rules over the children of his household; guiding, instructing, and correcting them as needed. The Apostles were like Spiritual dads to the church, watching over the sheep of God. You must always remember a preacher and the authority that he bears, being filled with humble subjection to his leadership and directions.
