James 2:20-22 (KJB) But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
The Christian faith teaches us that repentance is required in order to inherit eternal life, which is turning away from the works of darkness, to the works of light. Without these works, one’s faith is vain, because it is a denial of what God is calling us to become. It is by our works that we prove both to God and others the faith that we profess, and become transformed from sinful creatures, into the saints of God.

James 5:1-4 (KJB) Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten. Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days. Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.
It’s clear throughout the scriptures that some people pray to God to punish the wicked who have done evil towards them. They rip off the poor and at the same time claim it’s a blessing from God. These people are stupid and evil, and are the children of the devil who take advantage of the poor in order to increase their own wealth. These people are dirtbags, and are so worthless that they probably couldn’t hold back a flood if they wanted to. But God shall inflict them with pain and agony, both now and in eternity, and there will be a day that they pray for death and shall not find it.
