Thoughts of the day 8/8/26 am

Revelation 21:7-8 (KJB) He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

When you overcome something in your life, it means to fight hard against something in order to completely defeat it, and biblically speaking, we are talking about sinful behavior. This is why the message of repentance has been preached for thousands of years, because in order to get to heaven we must learn to go and sin more. The Apostle Paul spent his life preaching that people should turn from their sins and bring forth good works that are meet for repentance. There are going to be severe consequences eternally for all those who refuse to do this, so just as the Lord Jesus taught, repent or perish, because the reward for doing so will be the eternal inheritance of all things!

Psalms 146:9 (KJB) The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.

The Lord is merciful and filled up with kindness, and thinking about the needs of the suffering. He is ready to relieve and to aid the afflicted, a defender of all the maligned. The hearts of the righteous will be rewarded by God, and He will shower them with blessings from above. But those who are malicious, and do evil to their neighbor, God shall turn all their lives upside down.
