Ephesians 2:8 (KJB) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
All of us have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and if it wasn’t for what Jesus did on the cross, no one could ever be saved eternally. So the mere fact of being able to enter into Heaven someday is all because of our precious Lord, who granted each of us a gift of His Divine grace. The Christian Life begins with receiving God’s mercy, so that through faith we could repent from dead works and be transformed from a sinner into a saint. But the new creature that we become can only be accredited to God’s mercy, because if it wasn’t for Him, none of us would ever get to heaven. But make no mistake about it, God requires everyone to repent from their sins, because unless people repent and become obedient to the will of God, they will come up short of eternal life. But salvation itself is a gift from God, because it all began with Him, and the new person that we become would have never happened, without the grace of God.

Thoughts of the day 8/10/26 pm
Ephesians 4:1-3 (KJB) I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Jesus taught the Apostle Peter to be very forgiving with a brother in the church, even if they sin against you 70 x 7 times. When they repent of their deeds with a sincere and penitent heart, you need to show them mercy so they can have the opportunity to correct themselves and do the right thing. When you show forbearance towards others, you will stop yourself from a certain action, such as punishing an offender who has done something wrong to you. Confession with others is the path to forgiveness, and it is love for others that covers a multitude of sins. But many people cannot find a place of Grace with God or others, because of their hard and impenitent heart. Although we want to be forbearing and merciful with others, that is impossible to do when they are consumed with the pride of the devil, and refuse to admit fault to those whom they have wronged. One of the things that breaks unity in the church is when people refuse to reconcile with a brother that they have sinned against. When this happens, they will be bound unto damnation, condemning themselves because of their own pride. Admit faults immediately, so the root of bitterness cannot take root in your heart, defiling not only yourself, but the hearts of others also.
