Thoughts of the Day 8/19/26 am
Luke 15:3-7 (KJB) And he spake this 6parable unto them, saying, What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
Repentance is a major doctrine in the teachings of the Christian faith, and it is to be filled with so much sorrow and regret for the wrong way that you have lived your life, that it results in you turning away from that old lifestyle, and changing for the better. All of us have sinned and come short of the glory of God, but each of us are called to turn away from that behavior, and bring forth fruit that is meet for repentance. This transformation is so important to God, that when somebody finally has a change of heart, and begins to take steps in a different direction, the angels in heaven rejoice!

Thoughts of the Day 8/19/26 pm
Luke 14:25-26 (KJB) And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them, If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
Most people don’t want to believe that their parents and relatives are going to be in the lake of fire someday. This is because they were educated and taught to believe all of the lies and heretical teachings of false prophets. People die in their sins all of the time, but once they die in that state, their souls cannot be redeemed, as is so deceitfully taught throughout Catholicism on the topic of purgatory. I think this heresy was dreamed up in order to keep people in the seats, so they wouldn’t leave when they realized that their parents and loved ones would not obtain eternal life. But that’s why you cannot love anybody more than the Lord Jesus. The Lord called out to all kinds of men to go and preach the gospel, but in the end, most of them completely abandoned Him. But this is what happens when you preach the Truth to society, because they simply will not come to terms with it, and will choose to believe a lie instead. Eternal salvation must be worth more than anything, including our own family members, because many will simply not be able to get in. Remember that Peter told Jesus that,…. He had the words of Eternal life, to whom shall we go? Eternal life must be worth more to you than all the riches in this world, and any other relationship on this Earth, because if it doesn’t hold that place in your heart, you make yourself unworthy of salvation. Loving obedience to Christ is far more important than love for your own relatives, who might claim to believe in Him, but in reality, their lives are a complete contradiction to the teachings of the one true faith.
