Thoughts of the Day 9/3/26 am
1 John 4:9-10 (KJB) In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
All of us have sinned at one time or the other,
and fallen far short of the glory of God. But even while we were yet sinners, God loved us and sent His only begotten Son Jesus to die on the cross as an atonement for our sins. The love of God is absolutely amazing, because He laid down His own life for each one of us, so that we could have have a a brand new beginning. May our hearts never cease to thank Him, and praise His name for all of His merciful kindness towards each one of us.

James 2:5 (KJB) Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
Each day, many people seek after a way that they can increase their financial standing in this world. Their homes become larger, their vehicles become more expensive, and their bank accounts grow bigger. But when people chase after these things, their hearts will become divided, pulling them away from a close relationship with God. Poor people are rich in faith, because rather than seeking after the things of this world, they are seeking after Spiritual riches, ones that are found in our precious Lord Jesus Christ, and throughout the teachings of the one true faith.
