Thoughts of the Day 9/2/26 am

Hebrews 4:16 (KJB) Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Whenever you need a glass of water, you will go looking for it. Whenever you need a little bit of food, you will go looking for it. But there are times during our lives that we will need some forgiveness, and when those moments arise, we will need to reach out to Christ Jesus in order to obtain it.

Psalms 33:1-3 (KJB) Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright. Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings. Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.

How many of you play some type of instrument? Whatever it might be, each of us are called to bring them out and lift up a song of praise unto the Lord. In order to play them skillfully, it’s going to require a certain amount of practice, as we perfect our hymn of praise unto God. Rather than being quiet, we must bring a loud noise unto God, voicing our grateful hearts from the deepest parts of our souls!
