Thoughts of the Day 9/1/26 am

1 Timothy 6:9-10 (KJB) But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Love is a very powerful motion, and it can cause you to chase after many different things in this world, but when anything in your life becomes greater than a love for God, then your priorities have become misaligned. The quest to obtain more wealth is a foolish and purposeless goal, because it can never provide you with a life in eternity. Sorrows shall come to all those who seek after riches, because their heart loves the world rather than God.

2 Timothy 3:12-13 (KJB) Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Before the return of our precious Lord Jesus it’s going to look very similar to the days of Noah, and if you recall, the Lord destroyed people during that time because they were exceedingly wicked. When everyone thinks that there is going to be a great landslide of conversion to Christianity they are greatly mistaken, because this world will be completely overrun by seducers and deceivers. Just make sure that you hold onto the faith that you profess, because before the return of our Lord Jesus Christ, people are going to be following after false prophets, and this world is going to experience such evil, that it will pale in comparison to the days of Noah.
