Thoughts of the day 8/31/26 am
1 Timothy 2:1-4 (KJB) I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
God wants all men to come to a place of repentance, so pray for others that they might be saved.

Thoughts of the Day 8/31/26 pm
1 Timothy 4:16 (KJB) Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
When we continue, it means to keep going at something without stopping. For example, each day we continue to breathe air into our lungs, something that is done so repetitively that we really don’t even notice. But the teachings of Scripture are like the air that we breathe, and each day we must continually abide in them. Through the gospel, we are granted forgiveness by the grace of God, but we also play a part in our own salvation. Those who desire to inherit eternal life will need to become doers of the Word, continuing to walk in biblical Truth and making sure to pay close attention to the doctrines of our faith,
