Thoughts of the Day 9/25/26

Thoughts of the Day 9/25/26 am

John 12:46 (KJB) I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

When we were little children, many of us have had adult figures in our life who guided us in the right direction. Perhaps they had a strong sense of morality, and taught you from your youth the difference between right and wrong. But God’s only begotten Son Jesus Christ is the author of perfect righteousness, and He came into this world in order to lead us into perfect obedience to the will of the Heavenly Father. To truly believe in Him from the heart is to follow His instructions and commands, which are found throughout the teachings of God’s Holy Word. The Lord doesn’t want anyone to abide in darkness, so He reaches out to this sinful world in order to educate us in the will of God. He is a guide to the sinner, and the Shepherd of the sheep, turning our hearts from the error of our way, and redirecting our feet onto the path of light.

Thoughts of the day 9/25/26 pm

Matthew 20:26-27 (KJB) But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:

In the Christian Life, we are called to think about others above ourselves, because the first shall be last and the last will be first. A sincere man of God will preach God’s Holy Word because he is a servant of Christ Jesus, and selflessly focuses his time and efforts on the things concerning the gospel, rather than being fixated on himself. We live in a world where everybody wants to be first and in charge of everything, but the Lord teaches us that those who are the greatest among you shall be your minister. The Christian faith is about servant leadership, and if you really want to be first in the eyes of God, then you must put others before yourself, firstly by becoming a servant of our precious Lord Jesus, and and then all of the people around you.
