Thoughts of the Day 9/24/26 am
Psalms 40:5 (KJB) Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
Whenever I take a long walk, it’s almost impossible to count all of the incredible things that God does for each one of us every single day. He brings forth the miracle of food that grows right out of the ground. He produces cold water to drink that pours out from the mouth of a continuous flowing well. He created fish in the lakes to fulfill our supply of meat, and the sunlight that shines down upon us to get things done during our day. But just like people who forget to send a thank you card for a gift that they have received, many people are too busy to lift up a prayer of thanks for all of the wonderful works that Jesus continually does toward every inhabitant on this Earth. Like the sands of the seashore, and the stars in the sky, the incredible works of God are innumerable, and He is worthy of our gratitude, and our unending praise, and we must never cease to lift up our thankful hearts unto Him!

Thoughts of the Day 9/24/26 pm
Romans 12:17 (KJB) Recompense to no man evil for evil…..
A recompense is a payback, and when somebody does something wrong to you, the natural tendency of human nature is to do the same thing right back to them. If they hurt you, you want to hurt them back. If they took something from you, you want to take something from them. But in the Christian faith, we are not supposed to return evil for evil, but overcome evil with good. We are not to retaliate, but patiently suffer with the wrongs that are committed against us. You can know for sure than that God sees everything that goes on in this world, and the Lord Jesus will swiftly avenge His faithful, and pour out His wrath against the evil doers.
