Thoughts of the day 10/10/26 am
2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (KJB) (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
When you imagine something, you will form a mental picture or concept of something that is not actually real. For example, you might become very hungry in the afternoon, and then imagine yourself sitting down at the local restaurant and eating a nice hot meal. The same is also true of many different religions that are out in the world today, who will imagine in their minds of what God might be to them. But once again, just because you might imagine that, it doesn’t make it real. The manifestation of everything that is true and real about God is found in His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. The Apostle would spend his days redirecting people’s imaginative concepts that they had formed about God, by pointing them to the Lord Jesus, and re educating them in all of the Spiritual things of the True and living God.

1 Timothy 1:5 (KJB) Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
There are a lot of soldiers who when they are out in a jungle somewhere, they will use different types of field filters so they can clean muddy or swampy water until it’s safe to drink. When something is pure, it means that it’s not mixed with anything else. It is unblemished, and free from contaminants or pollutants. Scriptures teach us to be filled with perfect Charity, first of all, towards the Lord Jesus Christ and then with our neighbors. A pure-hearted person is an extremely rare thing to find in this world, because they are sincere, genuine, and filled up with a tender heart towards others. Jesus is filled up with so much Charity that He shed His own blood on the cross in order to deliver this sinful world from our transgressions, and the greatest of all Spiritual gift that we can possess in our lives, is pure hearted Charity.
