Philippians 2:4 (KJB) Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
In the world that we live in, most people are running around completely focused on themselves and are self-seeking and are completely oblivious to the needs of others. To truly love your neighbor as yourself is to walk a mile in their shoes, and consider how you would want to be treated in the exact same situation. Whether they are rich or poor or in the highest or lowest places in society, it takes a humble and loving heart to think about the things of others. The Christian faith is about treating others the way that you would want to be treated, and if you can do that, you are fulfilling one of the commands of Christ.

2 Thessalonians 1:6 (KJB) Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
Whenever a servant of Christ is persecuted or treated poorly by others, God is going to avenge them speedily. When they do evil to His tender hearted children, He is going to pronounce His Divine judgment upon them. The faithful Saints of God don’t need to avenge themselves, just cry out mightily to God, because He will afflict them, plague them, and even destroy them from off the face of the Earth.
