Morning
Psalms 37:4-5 (KJB) Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
To desire is to have an earnest longing or wish to obtain something that you want, and as a parent, we can usually tell when our children really want something. For example, when walking through a boxstore, your son might stop for a minute and look up at a new bicycle that is displayed prominently on the wall. Maybe while you are walking through the frozen food section, you will notice your daughter staring into one of the cold storage bins, at the many different varieties of ice cream. As a dad, many of us like to reward our child because of their faithful obedience and good behavior, so we will reach inside of our wallet and give them some extra money to get what they want. There are many different desires that we can have in this world, but you can know for a fact that when we wholeheartedly devote our lives to obedience to the will of God, He can bring each of them to pass. The greatest desire for Solomon was the wisdom of God, and because of this God gave him the desires of his heart. Like a dad who rewards the obedience of their own child, God is going to reward those who serve Him, for He shall fulfill
the dreams of His servants, and remunerate the desires of the faithful.

Evening
Romans 3:9-10 (KJB) What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
None of us are righteous in and of ourselves, because at one time or the other all of us have sinned and come short of the glory of God. But this is exactly the reason why the Lord died, so that we could have a portion of His Divine grace in order to become brand new creatures in Christ Jesus. The only way any of us could be saved is by receiving forgiveness from Him, because without it, you will die in a state of unforgiveness with God. Don’t get me wrong, once you become a follower of Christ, God expects each one of us to become righteous through loving submission and humble obedience to His will. Faith-righteousness is to believe in God so much that it causes you to depart from the sinful works of the flesh, in order to walk in the light of the Holy Spirit. It is only through sincere faith that you will ever be able to become pleasing unto God, and bring forth the Divine fruits of goodness, righteousness and Truth.
