Morning
Proverbs 8:10-11 (KJB) Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold. For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.
Many people will spend most of their lives seeking after the treasures and riches of this world, but to obtain the wisdom of God is a wealth that is beyond compare. Moses desired these things so much that he turned away from all of the fortunes in Egypt, showing that the things of God were worth more to him than anything this world had to offer. You cannot serve God and mammon, and whatever you love most in your life is what you will be filled up with. So rather than seeking after things that are ultimately going to perish, seek the things that are above, because the riches of this world are temporal, but the Spiritual riches of God are eternal!

Luke 6:46 (KJB) And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
When you enter into the Christian Life it requires submission to the doctrines of our faith. Many people will quickly claim to believe in Jesus but there is a huge difference from confessing Him with your lips, and serving Him obediently from the heart. Those who never truly submit to the will of God are only deceiving themselves and will be in for a huge shock at judgment Day. Why would you claim to be a fisherman but you never spend time on the lake? Why would you call yourself a logger, but never spend time in the woods? Why would somebody claim to be a Christian, but reject the things that He calls us to do? To obtain eternal life will require putting your faith into action through loving obedience to the will of God, because one day of that attitude is far more important than a hundred years of lip service.
